A Church Family Built on God’s Word
Arouca Baptist Church is a local body of believers, united in salvation, in baptism, in doctrine, in testimony, in love and in purpose. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church home, you will find a warm welcome, Bible preaching and a family to grow with.
To lift up the name of Christ by praising Him in spirit and in truth, by proclaiming Him across the street and around the world, by pleasing Him in the way we live our lives and by instructing others how to live a life that pleases Him.

OUR PURPOSE
Praise Him. Proclaim Him. Please Him.
Praise Him
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24
We worship with the right heart attitude, and in line with the ultimate standard of truth, God’s Word.
Proclaim Him
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” Matthew 28:19
We share the message of Christ’s death, burial, resurrection and return, across the street and around the world, as we pray, give and go.
Please Him
“…teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:20
We strive to live lives that please Him, and we teach others to do the same.
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”
John 12:32

THE GOOD NEWS
How Can I Know God?
The Bible tells us that we can have a personal relationship with God and the certainty of eternal life. Here’s how.
01
God Loves You
God created you and loves you deeply. He sent His only Son so that you could know Him.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…” John 3:16
02
We Have All Sinned
Our sin separates us from a holy God, and no amount of good works can remove it.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
03
Jesus Paid the Price
Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose again, conquering death.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
04
Receive Him by Faith
Salvation is a free gift, received by trusting in Jesus Christ alone as your Saviour.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
Have questions, or would you like someone to talk to? We would love to help.
